Governance is the act of governing or ruling. It is the set of rules and laws framed by the government that are to be implemented through the representatives of the state. ... On a similar pattern, the government is a body of elected representatives which is headed by a single person.

Government is a set of people who are formulating rules and laws for us in order to maintain law and order conditions in the country and look into the grievances of the people. It consists of permanent as well as temporary members. Permanent is the bureaucracy who works in the background in various ministries and government departments and serve throughout. These are non-elected like the civil servants. In the other hand, temporary is the PM and his council of ministers who are elected by the people and serve a fixed duration and can be replaced.

WHEREAS

Governance refers to the manner in which the government is ruling or rather looking into the matters of its people. The way they exercise their power is the governance .

Governance is the act of governing or ruling. It is the set of rules and laws framed by the government that are to be implemented through the representatives of the state. Simply put, governance is what governments do.

Government is a group of people who rule or run the administration of a country. In other words, it may be said that a government is the body of representatives that governs and controls the state at a given time. Government is the medium through which the power of the state is employed.

Government means the regularised body of people who run the administration of a country. While there can be various forms of government like, democracy, autocracy etc. but they all serve the same purpose to drive the national wheel.

On the other hand, governance s the act of ruling that comes after the government is formed. So it could be termed as the implementation of the rules effectively by the ruling government. It is a function of a government.

A government is a body with the power to make, enforce laws to countrol a country while good governance involves not just these but has features such as efficiency, accountability, transparency, honesty, equity and many more features. Not all government has these ab9ilities only exceptional ones which makes them exhibit good governance over their people
